Q-CMS50
Cylinder Management System for SAGE 50
Q-CMS50 enables you to monitor cylinders in which product is sold but the cylinder is on rental.
Each cylinder has a code assigned to it which indicates it’s status (such as ‘Onsite Empty’, ‘Offsite with a Customer’, ‘Onsite being filled’ etc.).
Sales Order Details are entered into the system. When an order is due for delivery a Delivery Note is created which can either be for a complete or partial delivery. Orders that are due to be picked for delivery are selected and details are written to the scanner. The scanner is used to identify the cylinders that are available to be despatched – only cylinders with the correct contents and status are acceptable. When the picking is complete, details are posted back into the system. Detailed sales invoices are generated and automatically posted into SAGE 50.
Often a Supplier will wait until a cylinder is returned before issuing an invoice for the total value of the rental. Q-CMS50 can issue an invoice each month (or part thereof) to aid cash-flow.
Where a rental charge is applicable for cylinders that are offsite with a customer the system will generate Invoices into SAGE 50 at the end of each month (NB. if the sale of the contents included a number of days’ rental the system will take this into consideration when generating rental invoices).
All other movements can either be entered manually into the system or alternatively entered using the scanner.
The system has two main enquiry programs – customers and cylinders –
The customer enquiry allows you to quickly see details of the cylinders that the customer is currently holding. In addition, you can view a detailed list of all transactions, i.e. purchases and cylinder returns, within a given date range.
The cylinder enquiry shows you all relevant details for a given cylinder including a history of all related stock movement transactions.
