Q-WebPic
Website Picture Library
If you have a Webpage or Webshop which includes photographs, Q-WebPic is an easy to use tool that you can use to transfer picture files from your PC to the Website.
Q-WebPic uses a simple file naming protocol to group together pictures so, for example, you have a Webshop that sells shoes – you can group together multiple pictures of a shoe taken from different angles like front, back, top, side etc.
Q-WebPic Main Screen
Q-WebPic can be used as a stand-alone tool but has been designed to work in conjunction with our Q-WebLink software. Only one Picture can usually be recorded against a SAGE Stock Record but using Q-WebPic with Q-WebLink means that multiple pictures can be linked – the names of all of the associated picture files are held on the Stock update records sent by Q-WebLink to the Website.
How does it work?
Picture files that you wish to send to the Website are placed into a folder on your PC called ‘NewPictures’.
When you run Q-WebPic it transfers the files to your Website (into a folder called ‘PictureLibrary’) ready for inclusion into your Website.
The program then moves the copy on your PC into a folder also called ‘PictureLibrary’. Should you need to resend pictures to the Website you simply move them from ‘PictureLibrary’ to ‘NewPictures’ and then run Q-WebPic again.
The Setup Screen
The Setup screen is used to tell Q-WebPic where to fine the Pictures on your machine, the parameters required to attach to Sage and the parameters required to attach to your Website.
The Run Screen
When you press the Run button the program checks to see if any new Picture files exist on your PC (in the ‘NewPictures’ folder). The names of the files will be displayed on the screen.
When you accept these files the program will send them to the Webpage – ticks will appear in the ‘Copied’, ‘Stored’ and ‘Complete’ columns to show the progress of the copies.

- Support is provided upon condition of a suitable remote link (such as a VPN – virtual private network) to all sites; cover is for a 12-month period and includes all updates
